The Lampasas Episcopal Cursillo group has invited all Central Texas Emmaus/Cursillo groups to join them for their August 28th Ultreya (Gathering).  This will be the “End of Summer 2016” event for all Cursillistas and 4th Day Pilgrims in Central Texas.

Sunday, August 28th at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church, 501 South Chestnut St., Lampasas, Texas.  The grill will be fired up and ready for hot dogs and hamburgers by 2 PM.  The Ultreya (Gathering) will begin about 4 PM in the Parish Hall.

As usual, individual are asked to help provide the food and beverages for the picnic.  The menu is hot dogs and hamburgers with all the “fixins”.  To prevent duplications please phone Randy Johnson at 254-542-6097 of 254-681-0111 to sign up to bring food.  We are asking everyone to bring beverages to share and desserts or other foods to complete the picnic.

If you have attended a weekend or are planning to attend one, or you are just curious about the group.  Then you are welcome to attend.  Everything you are expecting:  Worship, 4th Day Talk, Music, and Communion will be there.  There will limited child care during the meeting.

Special Note:  We hope to have people from all Cursillo communities (Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc.) attending.  We believe being in service to the world should not be a denominational thing and we all come together for Kairos so why not other activities?
